Well, I like old guitars, I like old cypress. and I don't mind workin hard. I have the good fortune to know a few fellas that still can get their hands on sinker cypress. That is, the trees that never made it to the lumber yard a hundred years ago. I reckon those logs have been waitin there all this to make your Guitar sound like it should.

We can custom make any style Pickguard for your guitar and have different way of appilying them. What makes me an expert on guitars?

Nothing, But my Buddy Brian Biddick worked for The Taylor Guitar company for years and is insane about acoustics, resins, glues, and finishes. He started making his own instruments and has been doing guitar repair and reconditioning outside of Lafayette ever since he left California.

From his shop in Arnaudville, carpenter and musician Wayne Curtis mills down the cypress and makes the pickguards. You gotta see this guys work.

I myself make Guitar straps, one at a time from top quality cowhide.... Check it out.

Here's a strap Mike Dean had me make for Pat Green...

So here's how we make electric guitars...

Step 1 - You tell us what you want. Draw up a design & decide what kind of wood you want. We custom make what you ask for. From body contours to the headstock-we make the whole thing from scratch. Here's a Neck through version of a PRS meets a Telecaster...Call it a Louisiana Longhorn.

Step 2- Finish...What color or what finish you want. Leave the wood natural or paint it like a Bicentennial-Pinto. We're kinda partial to the beauty of wood.

Step 3- Electronics, Pick-ups, Pickguards, wiring are done to your specs. Here's the finished product.

In this case the customer asked for Bone on the Bridge & Nut...It took a little extra time in the shop, but Wayne was able to get it done.

Even guitar snobs agree...IT ROCKS! Only serious inquiry please. They start at $1,000....this neck thru model was $1,600
